Wedding Favors Selection

Choosing a wedding favor is an interesting and in some cases, a pressure filled part of the wedding planning process with the various choices it offers. There is no specific wedding favor that is right or wrong; however, the bride usually chooses the favor while keeping her personality in mind and what she thinks the guests will like.

Sometimes the décor of the reception can be the basis for making favor selections. There are numerous types of place cards and place card holders that make the table interesting and offer various bases and details. Pewter, stainless steel or ceramic picture frames used as placards are great wedding favors. You tend to have a better choice for favors. when the theme of the wedding is traditional, Asian, Latino, beach, fairy tale, sports or any other interest the couple has.

It is not necessary to make a selection only from the table décor. You can also choose to give the guests items that can be used after the wedding like; letter openers, glassware, demitasse cups, bottle stoppers, cleaners, key chains or flower seeds. You could make your flower seeds more interesting by embedding the seeds in paper fiber to be formed into ornaments. You could add a small thank you card, and instructions for planting of the seeds.

Another great idea is creating unique labels for ordinary food items like chocolates and gourmet coffee beans. Brand these items with your personalized labels with a statement from the both of you. There are some wineries and micro breweries that provide for the ordering of private, labeled spirits. To make your wedding favors. memorable, there are some candy makers who design moulds having images of the couple or 'engraved' messages.

You could also approach local artists to create special romantic music in a CD, with a private design and label. Or there are graphic artists who will help you create a specialized logo for use in common items. In fact, this logo can then serve as a family crest, and be used in your lifetime.

Whichever wedding favors. selection you choose, the important thing that lies in it is the thought behind it.
